Ingredients
  

  • 1 tablespoon toasted sesame oil
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger grated
  • 1 cup shiitake mushrooms sliced
  • 6 cups chicken or vegetable broth
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 12 frozen potstickers chicken, pork, or vegetable
  • 3 scallions sliced
  • Furikake seasoning optional, for garnish
  • Optional veggies: ½ cup shredded carrots a handful of spinach, or other leftover vegetables

Instructions
 

  • Sauté the Aromatics:
  • Heat the sesame oil in a large pot over medium heat.
  • Add the garlic, ginger, and shiitake mushrooms. Sauté for 2-3 minutes until fragrant and the mushrooms soften slightly.
  • Prepare the Broth:
  • Pour in the chicken or vegetable broth and stir in the soy sauce.
  • Bring the mixture to a gentle simmer.
  • Add the Potstickers:
  • Carefully drop the frozen potstickers into the simmering broth.
  • Cook for 3-5 minutes, or until the potstickers are heated through and tender.
  • Garnish and Serve:
  • Ladle the soup into bowls and top with sliced scallions.
  • Sprinkle with furikake seasoning for extra flavor.
  • Serve immediately and enjoy!
