Ingredients

  • 3 tbsp Blanco Tequila 1.5 fl oz
  • 1 tbsp Cointreau or Triple Sec 0.5 fl oz
  • 6 tbsp Mango Juice or Nectar 3 fl oz
  • 2 tbsp Fresh Lime Juice 1 fl oz, about 1 lime
  • 2 tbsp Jalapeño Simple Syrup 1 fl oz
  • Ice as needed
  • Tajin or Kosher Salt for rimming
  • Optional: Mango slices jalapeño rings, lime wedges, fresh mint (for garnish)

Instructions

  • Fill a cocktail shaker halfway with ice.
  • Pour in tequila, mango juice, lime juice, jalapeño simple syrup, and Cointreau.
  • Shake well until the shaker feels cold to the touch.
  • Run a lime wedge around the rim of your glass and dip it in Tajin or salt for a zesty kick.
  • Fill the glass with fresh ice and strain the margarita over the top.
  • Garnish with mango slices, jalapeño, lime, or mint. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

  • Adjust the jalapeño syrup for more or less heat.
  • Use mango nectar for a sweeter, richer flavor.
  • To make a pitcher (serves 8), multiply ingredients by 4 and mix in advance—add ice just before serving.
  • Jalapeño simple syrup can be stored in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.
  • For a frozen version, blend all ingredients with a cup of ice.
