Ingredients

  • 10 cups of frozen seedless watermelon cubes
  • 2 –4 tablespoons of maple syrup depending on how sweet you like it
  • Juice of 1 large lime
  • 1/4 cup fresh mint or basil leaves optional, but so refreshing
  • 1 1/2 cups filtered water or swap for coconut water for a tropical twist

Instructions

  • Let the frozen watermelon cubes sit at room temperature for 5-10 minutes to soften slightly.
  • Add watermelon, 2 tablespoons of maple syrup, lime juice, mint or basil, and water to a high-speed blender.
  • Pulse a few times to break up the fruit, then blend until smooth and slushy.
  • Taste and adjust sweetness by adding more maple syrup if needed. If it’s too thick, add a splash more water.
  • Pour into chilled glasses, garnish with lime wedges or mint sprigs, and enjoy immediately!

Notes

  • Sweetness Tip: Ripe watermelon may not need much maple syrup—always taste before adding more!
  • Fun Variation: Swap water for sparkling water for a fizzy twist, or add a splash of tequila for an adult version.
