Ingredients

  • 12 ounces short pasta penne or rotini
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 6 slices bacon cooked and crumbled
  • 2 cups Alfredo sauce store-bought or homemade
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 medium onion finely diced
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • ½ teaspoon chili powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional toppings: diced tomatoes green onions, pickles

Instructions

  • Cook Pasta:
  • Boil pasta in salted water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  • Cook Bacon:
  • In a large skillet, cook bacon until crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels. Reserve a small amount of bacon grease for flavor.
  • Brown Beef:
  • In the same skillet, sauté onions and garlic until fragrant. Add ground beef, season with paprika, chili powder, salt, and pepper. Cook until browned.
  • Prepare Sauce:
  • Pour Alfredo sauce into the skillet with the beef. Stir to combine, then add ½ cup of shredded cheese. Let it melt into the sauce.
  • Combine Pasta:
  • Toss cooked pasta into the skillet, mixing thoroughly with the sauce. Crumble most of the bacon into the dish, saving some for garnish.
  • Add Cheese:
  • Transfer pasta to a baking dish (if not using an oven-safe skillet). Sprinkle remaining cheese on top and broil for 2–3 minutes until bubbly and golden.
  • Serve:
  • Garnish with reserved bacon and optional toppings like diced tomatoes or green onions. Serve hot and enjoy!
