Ingredients

  • 4 pork chops bone-in or boneless, 1-inch thick
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • ¼ cup honey
  • 3 garlic cloves minced
  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • ½ tsp red pepper flakes optional
  • Fresh parsley or green onions for garnish

Instructions

  • Prepare Pork Chops – Pat the pork chops dry and season both sides with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  • Make Honey Garlic Sauce – In a bowl, whisk together honey, minced garlic, apple cider vinegar, and red pepper flakes.
  • Sear the Pork Chops – Heat olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear pork chops for 4-5 minutes per side until golden brown. Remove and set aside.
  • Create the Glaze – Lower the heat to medium and pour the honey garlic sauce into the skillet. Scrape up browned bits and simmer for 2-3 minutes.
  • Coat the Pork Chops – Return pork chops to the skillet, turning them to coat in the glaze. Let them cook for another 2-3 minutes while basting with sauce.
  • Serve & Enjoy – Garnish with parsley or green onions and serve hot with your favorite sides.

Notes

  • For extra crispy edges, broil the pork chops for 2 minutes after searing.
  • Use bone-in pork chops for a juicier texture.
  • Add a teaspoon of hot sauce for a spicier version.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
