Ingredients

  • 1 cup cottage cheese
  • ½ cup melted dark chocolate
  • ¼ cup melted butter
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • ¼ cup milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • ¾ cup whole wheat flour
  • ¼ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • ½ tsp baking soda
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ½ cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease or line a 9×9-inch baking dish with parchment paper.
  • In a food processor, blend cottage cheese, melted chocolate, butter, sugar, egg, milk, vanilla extract, and cocoa powder until smooth.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together whole wheat flour, baking soda, and salt.
  • Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Do not overmix.
  • Fold in the chocolate chips, ensuring even distribution throughout the batter.
  • Transfer batter to the prepared baking dish and spread evenly.
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  • Allow to cool completely before slicing into 16 squares.
