Big Mac Sloppy Joes Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1/2 yellow onion chopped
  • 1 lb lean ground beef 96/4
  • 1 tsp yellow mustard
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • Fresh cracked black pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup beef broth divided
  • 1 tsp cornstarch mixed with 1/4 cup broth
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 5 slices American cheese
  • 5 brioche hamburger buns

Big Mac Sauce:

  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise 60g
  • 1/4 cup ketchup 60g
  • 1/4 cup dill pickles finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp dill pickle juice

Instructions

  • Spray large skillet with nonstick spray over medium heat. Add onions and meat, cooking 5 minutes until browned.
  • Add garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, and mustard. Stir to combine.
  • Add Worcestershire and 1/4 cup broth. Simmer 2-3 minutes.
  • Mix cornstarch with remaining broth, add to meat, and simmer 5 minutes to thicken.
  • Make sauce: Combine mayo, ketchup, pickles and pickle juice in small bowl.
  • Assemble: Place bottom buns on baking sheet. Top each with 1 tbsp sauce, lettuce, 1/2 cup meat (103g), and cheese slice. Broil until cheese melts.
  • Add 1 tbsp sauce to top buns and assemble sandwiches.
