Preheat Your Oven:
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or aluminum foil.
Prepare the Salmon:
Pat the salmon fillets dry with a paper towel. Place them on the baking sheet, skin-side down if using skin-on fillets.
Make the Marinade:
In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, melted butter, minced garlic, and lemon juice. Brush the marinade generously over the salmon fillets, ensuring they’re fully coated. Sprinkle with salt, black pepper, and optional toppings like lemon slices or fresh herbs.
Bake:
Bake the salmon for 12–15 minutes, depending on the thickness of the fillets. The salmon is done when it flakes easily with a fork and has a slight pink sheen inside.
Optional Broil:
For crispy edges, broil the salmon for 1–2 minutes at the end. Watch carefully to avoid burning.
Serve:
Transfer the baked salmon to plates, drizzle with extra marinade, and garnish with fresh parsley or dill. Serve immediately.
