Ingredients

  • 4 chicken thighs bone-in or boneless
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  • Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  • Pat chicken thighs dry with a paper towel to ensure crispiness.
  • Rub chicken thighs with olive oil and season with garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  • Arrange the chicken thighs in the air fryer basket, skin-side up, ensuring they don’t overlap.
  • Cook for 22–25 minutes for bone-in thighs or 15–18 minutes for boneless thighs, flipping halfway through.
  • Check that the internal temperature of the chicken reaches 165°F (75°C) using a meat thermometer.
  • Remove the chicken thighs from the air fryer and let them rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

  • Ensure chicken thighs are not crowded in the air fryer to allow even cooking.
  • For reheating leftovers, air fry at 350°F (175°C) for 5–7 minutes to restore crispiness.
